About Me

Growing up, none of my friends wanted to eat at my house. My parents were often caught in the cycle of yo-yo dieting, and our kitchen was stocked with things like fresh produce, nuts, seeds, hummus, and dried fruit—not exactly the “fun” snacks most kids craved. I remember being thrilled to visit friends’ homes, where I could indulge in Frosted Flakes, Cheez-Its, and Oreo cookies.

Looking back, I’m grateful for the foundation my parents gave me. While their approach wasn’t perfect, it instilled in me a deep appreciation for whole foods and how what we eat shapes our long-term well-being. That early experience planted the seed for my career in nutrition and my passion for helping others develop a balanced, sustainable relationship with food.

I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nutrition from UMass Amherst, where I built a strong foundation in nutritional science. I completed my dietetic internship through Queens College, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of clinical and community settings.

Since becoming a registered dietitian, I’ve worked in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and private counseling, supporting individuals with diverse health needs and goals. I also became a certified personal trainer to help clients bridge the gap between food and fitness in a way that supports their overall lifestyle.

My Philosophy

My approach is rooted in the belief that there’s no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to nutrition. I work collaboratively with each client to find strategies that feel realistic and meaningful—because lasting change only happens when it fits your life.

In our work together, I also encourage reflection on how social media and societal messages influence our perceptions of food, body image, and health. Unpacking these learned beliefs can be a powerful step toward building a more compassionate, informed relationship with food.

I stay up to date with the latest research to help clients make sense of conflicting information and separate evidence-based guidance from passing trends. My goal is to empower you with the tools and confidence to make decisions that support your health—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
